Grill Stop Inc. ("Grill Stop," "we," "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect when you use grillstop.net, why we collect it, and what choices you have. If you have questions, email grillstopinc@gmail.com.

1. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of personal information:

  • Contact info: name, email, phone number
  • Order info: the items you ordered, pickup time, any special instructions, and tip amount
  • Payment info: processed by Stripe — we do not store your card number on our servers
  • Account info: if you create an account, your hashed password and login sessions
  • Technical info: IP address, browser type, pages visited, and anonymized analytics events

2. How we use your information

  • To prepare and deliver your order
  • To contact you about your order (order-ready text, receipt)
  • To keep you signed in to your account
  • To improve the website based on how customers use it
  • To protect against fraud and abuse

3. Who we share with

We do not sell your personal information. We share only with service providers who help us operate the site:

  • Stripe — payment processing
  • Neon (Postgres) — database hosting for your account and order history
  • Vercel — website hosting
  • PostHog — anonymized analytics about how the site is used (if enabled)
  • Google Maps — displays our location on the contact page

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and safety.

4. Cookies and tracking

We use a first-party session cookie to keep you logged in. We may use analytics cookies (like PostHog) to understand how customers use the site. You can disable cookies in your browser settings at any time, though doing so may prevent you from signing in or placing orders.

5. Do Not Track signals

Some browsers include a "Do Not Track" (DNT) setting. There is no industry-wide standard for how websites should respond to DNT signals, so we do not currently change our behavior based on them. We disclose this as required by California Business & Professions Code §22575.

6. Your choices and rights

You can request a copy of the personal information we have about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing grillstopinc@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days.

You can update your name, email, phone number, and saved preferences any time from your account page.

7. Children

Our website is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Effective date" at the top of this page. If the changes are significant, we will also notify account holders by email before the changes take effect.
